About the Project

The Art of West End is a community digital arts project produced by residents from the West End Estate in Hemsworth, Wakefield.

Residents from young children to the older generations will work with professional artists and producers to create a series of projects for display in the local community and to a wider global audience.

A portfolio of work will be produced for exhibition in the community as well as online. We hope that by using the arts as a tool to engage community involvement and participation it will inspire future arts projects and shared partnership working in the Hemsworth area.
